I stopped last fall to check it out, was curious like you. Nice older gentleman runs it he said he has been in the business for a long time. We were walking to his shop I asked what he had? Anything you need. We got in his shop and he had a few bottles of lure, a few duke traps I think some wood coon boards and not a whole lot more. He said he still buys fur.

Keith,

I haven't seen Bill at the Bucyrus sale in about 3 or 4 years. Might have been the only time he'd been there, I don't know. He talked to me the last time he was there and said some nice things to me. Seemed like a real nice fella.

Bill was a big coon buyer back in the 80's, Kopenhagen was trying to get into the wild fur auction business back then but the crash ended that.

He was pretty much out of the fur business for a long time, had some health issues too, but had gotten back into it, maybe few years before you saw him at Bucyrus.

Mark,
South of tiffin on 53 is one but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have much from what someone told me. Not sure about 231.

I think it's called Tiffin Fur, they went big several years ago even doing radio ads over here, expanded into trapping supplies and buying fur, but I think they are back to mostly a coon hunter supply, maybe even make their own light?

The owner of Tiffin fur was very ill for spell, was even closed almost a year. Not much in trapping supplies since but is a good place to get carharts. On south about 5 miles on 53. Johnson hunting and fishing carries a few trapping supplies also.

If you want plastic for things like bait, check out U S Plastics in Lima, they handle about every kind of plastic container you can think of.
