Gray Fox

O K, I'm tired of fighting this special characters nonsense where it won't let me copy a file, so, ODOW is going to start a gray fox study. Go to this post on the face book page, if you can't see it send me a u2u with your e-mail and I will send you the word file.

Attention Trappers,

The Ohio Division of Wildlife is instituting a tracking study on gray fox. This year the goal is to gather data then radio collar and release twenty fox.

Due to travel times the fox will need to be trapped only in Wildlife District 4 plus the addition of Fairfield County.

Fox need to be in good physical condition.

A blanket permit is being issued to the Ohio State Trappers Association (OSTA) that will allow live removal of the fox to be placed in a holding pen if needed.

You will need to be available for the data collection and collaring so the fox can be released at the capture site, or make arrangements with another contact person.

You will be paid forty dollars ($40.00) per fox that is a suitable candidate and is used by ODOW. Payment will be through the OSTA treasury.

Call or text Suzie Prange at 740-590-3138 or John Sisson at 740-288-5093 as soon as you can to make arrangements for data gathering, collaring and release. Call anytime. Leave a message if you don't get an answer and your call will be returned ASAP.

Thank you for your help and cooperation with this study.

On my opera browser, I was able to right-click and select Paste as Plain Text.

No issues at all when doing it the old fashioned way when I sent the eNews out.

Just a reminder to everyone, they are still in need of 10 more fox at this time, it would be nice to reach the 20 quota for this season.
