Bow fishing tournaments


Anyone have any info on some here in the northern part of the state? Looking for a quick supply of carp.

Just started getting carp at the Buckeye Lake Tournament for a couple of years. Then they stopped after the state started working on the dam. Sounds like they are raising the water level this year. If they have the tournament I will let you know.

Dillon Lake used to hold one every year. You might check with the Ohio Bowhunters Association to see if they still hold it.

Check with commercial fisherman up on the lake. Used to buy 500 lbs at a shot from the seiners for turtle bait, Erie Mi. area.

Grand Lake St. Marys used to have a tourney. Will see if they still do. Usually around end of May.
