Rain

Well we had a total of 2.4" of rain today with 1.4" coming in 15-20 minutes. Made the creek rise 6' which put 4' of water in my back yard. So we went canoeing for my oldest son Reed's 5th birthday party! Made for a great day! We only could go 50 yards one way then turn around and float back but my two boys, my brother and sister and I had a great time. There were army worms, corn borers and mice, moles, muskrats and rabbits all running around. In 4 hours the water was back down and only the creek is still flowing at capacity.
We have videos so I'll try to put them on sometime.

Mark.

Wow. That is an almost frightening amount in that short time frame. Glad it didn't last much longer.

I had 1.75in. but I left at 5:20am and it lightly rained on and off all the way to work. It sure is helping my mowing business, that's for sure! :)

Guess who was trying out our new tent last night in that heavy rain last night. 2" last night parts of Brown county got 5 to 7 inches of rain! There was a lot of damage in Maysville. 2 houses washed away and 1 person missing. Several boat broke loose In Augusta and are floating loose on the Ohio River. John
