No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

I just read over the proposed regulation changes.

It looks like DNR is going to remove some of the 3 otter counties, and place them in the 1 otter limit category.

Remember, I'm the fellow who took three Ohio otter in six days two years before we even had a season. Generally, I spend the winter trapping in western TN where otter are a dime a dozen. By the time I get home, I have usually satisfied my lust for trapping otter, so I don't/haven't targeted them here. Looks like I screwed up. I'm guessing they are taking my county out of the 3 otter zone because of low numbers on the harvest record. I guess I should have come home a killed three of these otter every year just to keep up appearances.

I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
