birds

Buzzards are back. Last two days thousands of sea gulls in the fields around the house. There eating night crawlers. The crawlers got caught on top of the ground with the flash freeze two nights ago. Millions dead on top of the ground. Spring must be getting closer.

I saw my first one of the year around February 14 Northeast of Hinckley close to Broadview Heights. This is the earliest I've ever seen them up this way.

We had this discussion last year. As you all know the buzzards do not return to Ohio until March 15. What you are seeing now are compromised DNA birds that probably should be taken out of the gene pool. Kind of like a beached whale.

When you get the permit for that Loadie, get them to put cormorants on it too! :D
