Pride

My 3 year old just asked me to help him practice his trapping!!
My six year old is pretending to trap otters.

Makes me feel good that they have been attending the conventions!

Mark, If you would of bought them other three traps they would of had more traps to use. Good luck with your trapping and the boys Mark.

Hey Dan,
I can teach them the proper way to slide down the bank holding a set CDR after losing your footing. Then how to safely stop before colliding with their dad.
Mark could teach them the look of shear terror of seeing me coming down fast, and right at him.
He still mentions this experience every now and then. I think he's still a little bit traumatized about it. :)

Keith, we had a friend stop Monday to pick up some snares and the boys told him how they remake the coyote sets after a catch.

Racer, I need those other traps because each child wanted two traps even the little girl, so I had to get more out, which would have left me with one to practice with.

Dan, it's hard enough for Russ and I to keep track of each other on a pungy stick filled beaver swamp the first few times. Plus we haven't found all the deep holes yet!!!
Also with the way Rusty's grandsons and my boys played and wrestled at the convention they would be off and running into the next county with all the supply's we would make them carry before we knew they were gone!!

It's a good thing we are practicing the coyotes were right in the driveway next to the garage Tuesday night. I turned the light on and they slowly sauntered on down the drive way. I cannot let the boy walk the quarter mile to the bus because we see them in the lane or corn almost every morning, until I thin some of them down this winter.

It will be lots of fun when they are able ride along this winter.

RUSS I had almost forgotten about that. It was buried deep. . . Until now!!!! Thanks buddy.
