NAFA in bad shape

What does this mean for our state sales? I know Zander usually has someone buying for him. Not sure on the other buyers that usually show up and their outlets.

Probably wont really know until the fur buying season ramps up. NAFA was still just a middle man and not the market. Who knows how much their marketing overseas to bring in designers and develop markets helped the market. We shall see if NAFA does go away.

If they pull through or not, I think we will see a bump in fur volume this year, people will be scared to ship. I'm sure FHA is going to have more because of it too, but with the bad market the last few years more and more have been selling local instead of shipping anyway.

As far as buyers go, I don't think it will make a huge impact on our state sales. The ones buying there that were totally dependent on NAFA are pretty much out of the picture right now anyway.
