beaver board dry time


how long do u leave a beaver on a board ?
any rule of thumb as to when its ready to come off the board

Depends on your drying conditions, just watch the base of the tail area, when it's completely dry you can take it off. As long as the fur was good and dry there is no harm leaving it on longer, especially if you slid the skin up the nails a little after boarding.

thank u Keith I'm using staples so don't have the option of sliding up, as far as conditions ,drying rack is in the basement for constant 45 degrees temp and a fan running. I'm figuring 5-7 days and fur is washed and dried
