cookout at lima

we will again be having the friday night cookout at the osta convention .

the grill is going to be brought by ack .

wooooooody has said he will provide the charcoal for it.

hamburger pattys are being donated by the very generous person who has been doing it now for several years.

we need the rest of you and others to donate hamburger buns, hot dogs, hot dog buns, condiments for the sandwhiches , and other stuff .

chips, cookies, other deserts, cold salads , baked beans, anything else someone wants to eat .

post on here what you will bring , spread the word to others you know who will be coming .

hey ack, will that thing hold a hog?? if so get ahold of minker, he's been looking for one for the reg. C Meet for a couple of years now. the president of the plant said we couldn't use the one the plant owns for a hog but could use it for hamburgers and steak, so I think if its needed I can get it for next years NTA.

it has been decided that the osta will buy stuff like tater salad , etc. that has mayo in it and is subject to spoiling ( food poisioning ) . that way we know where it came from and hopefully its been stored properly . i guess if any of you want to donate money towards buying that stuff , that will be ok . we will get it friday somewhere close to the convention .

anything not subject to easily spoiling , baked beans , i think pasta salad would be ok too, bring them .

deserts

ok we got hamburgers and buns for them .

we got ketchup , mustard , relish and some onions .

we can use hotdogs and buns .

cheese slices .

pickles.

tomaters

someone to pre slice up onions, tomaters and something to store them in

plates

forks, spoons, etc.

napkins

bottled water

canned pop .

ack , is bringing the grill .

i'm glad it doesn't have rubber tires to melt.

woooooody, is bringing the charcoal for it.

we'll need lighter fluid too , and matches.

we have refridgerators at the fairgrounds we can use to store stuff in , warmers to hold food in ,

we need several large ice chests to hold pop and water . i will be bringing 2 , might need a couple more .

ok people, speak up .

we got only a couple more weeks.
