2 unlucky things happened to me this am!

On my 3rd stop of the morning, I walk to the 2nd to last trap and see I have a coon. As I get ready to load a short into my pistol, he takes one big lunge and pulls out. I frantically try to put my shell in but drop it, pick it up and bust down the creek after it. Bank was high so I it took a a few extra seconds to get up to the top. He did not go far and ducked into a hole. I plugged both holes with heavy rocks, went home and grapped a couple 5x5's. Left one hole plugged and set the other. All the while, my cell phone is laying in 6-8 inches of water. At least I am due for an upgrade!! Also, caught one of my biggest coon ever, 23 lbs. Tough skin'n!!

A ziplock bag for my digital camera and my cell phone. Cheaper than an upgrade!

Load that gun before you get to the set. I lost the first yote I ever caught because I didn't have my .22 loaded. Nothing like seeing your first yote pull out, and take off while you're standing right there.

I did get some revenge. 3 days later he finally stuck his head out and the 5x5 did him in.

Also, had an overnight stay in the hospital Sunday. Been having chest pains for a few days so I decided to go in. Was released around 6 last night. Have to have a cardioechogram and a stress test done before they will let me go back to work.

Thanks guys. Will do.

Hey Keith! I caught a really nice cinnamon coon and wondered how much it costs to get one mounted? Nothing real fancy or anything, just a basic mount. Thought maybe you could give me an idea as to what that would possibly cost.
