They tried the possum collar study years ago but they could not get the little rascals to wake up and walk away with the collars on so they had to abandon the idea:P

Keith, I believe that the queen possum is located at the core of the possum hive in Jackson County.

None of them do. They reserve their powerful jaws and razor sharp fangs for more important things like tearing into people's trash. They use their superior brains to utilize telekenetic powers with their mezmorizing death stare for defense. As beautiful as they may be, do not fall victim to those beady little eyes.

Here's one on otter dispersal

Summer Home Range, Habitat Use, Movements, and Activity Patterns of River Otters (Lontra canadensis) in the Killbuck Watershed, Northeastern Ohio
by David A. Helon

Daves a great guy and did allot of work on otters during the reintroduction program.

Other scientific reports are available on googlescholar.com they are from and about furbearers throughout the US.
