first trap that i checked held a nice mink and had 7 coons follow that. fur shed going to be busy today. ill post pictures later. hope everyone elses traps are full.

i had a record day, 24 coon and 6 opossums out of 37 sets!

wow yea that sounds like a great day. today was my record also. i doubled it. it went from being 4 in one day to 8. hoping the rain doesnt do to bad. head back to college on tuesday gonna try and hot some rats down there

heres the mink and 7 coons i got fist chec of the season. got 4 more coons the second check (monday). came back to college tuesday morning and got 3 sets out for rats yesterday and picked up a rat today. hes in the freezer in my dorm till i go home lol. mad ea few more rat sets here and a couple mink sets.

Keith I thought you new all about animals. A shunk is much bigger than a skunk, and only has one stripe, always on the left side, nose to tip of the tail.
They are very smart, and most trappers have never saw one. They bring a very high price! Only the most expert trappers can trap them.

got home yesterday for my thanksgiving break from college. with the little bit of daylight i had when i got home i got 7 sets out. had a nice buck mink and a nice coon waiting fro me. got about 40 more sets out today. one set being my first real attempt on a canine set. never caught one besides a fox in a coon snare

well found a great spot with my cousin today loaded with coons!!! made a few rat sets also but i put out about 25 or more sets. plus 3 more canine sets cant wait till the morning to go check. if the coons are moving then im going to be loaded with coons. about 90% blind sets. will post pics when i get time. ive been in waders from 730 till 5.

sorry about my delay for posting pics on here. came back to college and forgot the memory card for the camera at home. going home this weekend so ill get some pictures up then hopefully and hopefully ill have some more fur. my totals so far are coon:17, rats: 4, mink: 2 and somehow no grinners yet this year.

i see a lot of you guys talking about already having 100+ coon. how do you guys do it? how much land do you cover? how many traps are you running? this is my 3rd year and my best already. all season last year i only ended up with 22 coons, 3 mink, and 4 rats so im almost at my totals from last year for the whole season. and this year ive only trapped about 8 days of the season. i think i need more land to trap.
