Turtle nets

Got a few more tarred yesterday so I do have some more flat bottom for those interested. Taking a chunk off the tip of a finger last Monday slowed me down a little!

thats what happens when you stick your fingers where they don't belong.

like into a grinder wheel !

It was definitely where it didn't belong! Just it was the round knife instead of a grinder. This is from 48 hours after I got stupid, last night is the first time I didn't have at least a little spot of blood seeping out. Really does make it tough to do stuff! People keep telling me I should have went to the doctor.........

That's pretty gross Keith:o I cut my finger in a table saw a few years ago went to the emergency room and all they did was bandage it up!
Doc said it was to ground up to stitch. It still gets cold a lot faster in winter than the rest. At least you have the one to the right to pick your nose:D

No worries Joe, I'm ambidextrous on some things! That's all they would have done here too, just wrap and pressure, so since I now have worthless insurance thanks to our buddy obama, I just saved a bunch of money and did it myself.

WIMP!!! Just rub a little dirt on it and forget about it!!!

In all seriousness, keep it clean and watch out for signs of infection. Good luck with it.

I had an old farmer pour black iodine on a wood that looked like that after his dog tore into me. It hurt way worse than the dog bite but healed up in a couple days! Good luck with that, it looks pretty nasty.

You probably have enough stuff in that skin you been using for years without protection that it'll kill all the bacteria.

BTW, hows it look after 96 hours??

At 96 hours it was still leaking pretty good Waz, had to keep it wrapped. The last couple nights I've left it open so air could get to it and it's healing good, a little swelling. So, thanks to all my friends with the helpful hints, like rub dirt in it, let the dog lick it, dunk it in iodine etc! I get cut enough and deal in enough nasty stuff that I think my immune system is pretty good, never seem to have much infection problem. ;)

About 11 days later. Still a long way to go!

I have 6 or 7 to take to London, they are tarred, $75.00 with bait bag but you need to cut your own sticks.

That is one of my desk tops frank, I cleaned it up for the picture! ;)
